Renal cysts

A renal cyst is a closed sac filled with some fluid.

Autosomal dominant polycystic kidney disease
Bilateral renal an hepatic cysts are the pathognomonic sign of ADPKD. They allow a definit diagnosis after 40 years of age though.
Autosomal recessive polycystic kidney and hepatic disease 1
Bilateral renal cysts are early detectable, sometimes even by prenatal ultrasound.
Neonatal diabetes mellitus with congenital hypothyroidism
Cysts are the typical renal manifestation of NDH syndrome.
