Glucose-Galactose-Malabsorption ist eine autosomal rezessive Erkrankung, die durch eine ungenügende intestinale Resorption von Galactose und Glucose gekennzeichnet ist. In der Niere zeigt sich die Störung als Glucosurie.
Diarrhoe | |
Die Diarrhoe manifestiert sich in den ersten Lebenswochen und führt zu schwerer lebensbedrohlicher Dehydratation wenn keine glucose- und galactosefreie Diät eingeführt wird. |

Nephrocalcinose | |
Patienten mit Glucose-Galactose-Malabsorption können eine Nephrocalcinose entwickeln. Diese ist meist assoziiert mit weiteren proximalen tubulären Schäden, wie zB. einer renalen tubulären Azidose. |

Azidose | |
Bei der Glucose-Galactose-Malabsorption können proximale tubuläre Schäden wie eine renale tubuläre Azidose auftreten. |
