Die Krankheit mit der Kurzbezeichnung VKCFD2 ist durch ein autosomal rezessiver Mangel an allen Vitamin-K-abhängigen Koagulationsfaktoren (I, VII, IX und X), der durch eine Mutation der Untereinheit 1 des Vitamin-K-Epoxidereductasekomplexes (VKORC1) bedingt ist.
