Der Hypoaldosteronismus ist durch einen erniedrigten Aldosteronspiegel mit den entsprechenden klinischen Symptomen (Hypotonie, Wasserdepletion und Hyperkaliämie) gekennzeichnet. Neben den Störungen die allein die Aldosteronsythese betreffen gibt es viele Störungen die neben dem Mineralocorticoidsystem noch weitere Steroidhormonsysteme betreffen.
