Das autosomal dominante idiopathische Fanconi-Syndrom wird durch eine HNF4A-Mutation (R76W) ausgelöst. Neben dem durch die Störung der beta-Zelle hervorgerufenen Phenotyp eines MODY1 finden wir eine proximal tubuläre Schädigung mit Fanconi-Syndrom.
