Thrombozytenglycoprotein 1b alpha polypeptid
Das Glycoprotein 1b ist ein Thrombozytenrezeptor für den von Willebrand-Faktor. Mutationen bewirken eine Macrothrombozytopenie. Bei Mutationen dieses Gens kann das Bernard-Soulier-Syndrom sowohl dominant as auch rezessiv auftreten. Auch die nichtarteriosklerotische ischämische Opticusatrophie ist mit genetischen Veränderungen dieses gens assoziiert.
