Bardet-Bield-Syndrom 15-Gen
Das vom C2orf86-Gen kodierte Protein spielt eine wichtige Rolle in der Embryogenese. Es ist für die Ziliogenese und die Bewegung von Zellen verantwortlich. Mutationen führen zu autosomal rezessiven Erkrankungen wie Meckel-Syndrom Typ 6 und Bardet-Biedl-Syndrom 15.
