IL17RA gene

The IL17RA gene encodes a transmembrane protein, interleukin-17 receptor A. Interleukin 17A plays an important role in various inflammatory and autoimmune diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis. Mutations cause autosomal recessive immunodeficiency 51.
