Das BNAR-Syndrom ist eine autosomal rezessive Erkrankung, die durch Mutationen des FREM1-Gens ausgelöst wird. Sie ist durch verschiedene Fehlbildungen gekennzeichnet: bifide Nase und anorektale und renale Anomalien.
Die Prävanlenz wird auf weniger als 1 zu 1.000.000 Lebendgeburten.
